干细胞治疗有巨大的临床潜力，但也伴随更多的安全风险。近期美国CDC报告三例前往墨西哥做干细胞治疗的患者耐药菌感染案例，提示民众提高警惕。

据《今日美国》报道，每年有超百万美国人出国治疗，墨西哥是主要目的地之一。干细胞治疗因便宜，在当地合法，受到越来越多的医疗旅游机构青睐。

干细胞治疗在提供疗效的同时，其感染、致癌等潜在副作用不能被忽视。三例患者发生脓肿分枝杆菌感染，这种细菌常通过伤口或注射感染，可出现囊肿、发热等一系列症状，抗生素治疗难以生效。

第一例患者接受膝关节炎干细胞治疗导致双膝感染，第二例则是脊髓注射治疗多发性硬化症，此后出现头痛发烧症状。他们选择的诊所相隔数百英里，但同属一种罕见菌株感染。第三例为膝关节炎治疗后双膝感染，没有更进一步菌株信息。

三例患者感染已有一年半时间，仍在接受抗菌治疗。

专家警示，海外干细胞治疗监管不足，当地并没有相关感染事件发布及疫情调查信息。可以理解民众选择更便宜的海外医疗产品，特别是尚未获批的疗法，但建议大家特别警惕其伴有的安全风险，就目前来看，很多人相关意识并不充分。
